A little more about FlipHall.

Answers to common questions about tracking inventory, recording sales, and understanding your resale profit.

Can I share flip stories and follow other resellers?

Yes. Share wins, lessons, and finds that are still waiting to sell. Photos, purchase prices, and profit figures are optional. Follow shops and categories to build your Following feed, or join the rotating weekly prompt.

How do replies and resolved price checks work?

Your in-app Notifications page shows replies to your stories and price checks. Price-check authors can mark a helpful answer, save what happened next, and resolve the check. Fliphall also emails those notices unless you turn email notifications off in Settings.

How can I report content or block a member?

Open Report or block on a story, comment, price check, reply, or Hall message. Reports go to the operator moderation queue. Blocking hides community content between both members and prevents replies and follows. Manage your blocks under Following.

What is FlipHall?

FlipHall is a community and workspace for flippers and resellers. Share finds, ask other members for price checks, and talk sourcing in the Hall. Inventory, sales, expenses, and profit tracking help you keep the business side organized too.

How can I take part in the community?

Create an account and complete your shop setup, then open Community from the app navigation. Browse finds by category, answer a price check, or introduce yourself in the Hall. My activity brings together price checks you have posted or answered.

Who is FlipHall for?

FlipHall is built for resellers and flippers who source secondhand goods and want to organize their inventory and understand their margins. Use it to track thrift finds, estate-sale purchases, and other resale stock.

Can I import my existing inventory and sales?

Yes. The import wizard accepts CSV files for inventory and sales, lets you map your columns, and saves mappings for future imports. You can also export inventory and sales as CSV files.

Does FlipHall automatically sync with eBay?

The current workflow uses CSV imports and records you maintain in FlipHall. It includes fields for eBay fees and listing information, but does not automatically sync your eBay account or publish listings.

How does FlipHall calculate resale profit?

Item net profit starts with the sale price and shipping collected, then subtracts the cost of the items sold, marketplace fees, advertising fees, shipping costs, and refunds. The dashboard also shows net after overhead, including recorded expenses and mileage.

Can I track items before they are listed?

Yes. Separate inventory views help you organize unlisted, active, and sold items. You can record purchase and storage locations, find records with missing information, and review items due to be relisted.

Can I record business expenses and mileage?

Yes. FlipHall includes expense and mileage records alongside profit-and-loss and tax report views. The reports help you organize your records; they do not file a tax return for you.

How do I get started?

Create an account, complete your setup, then add inventory or import a CSV. Record your costs and update your sales details to start reviewing your margins in the dashboard.
